Meet the Stars of Snow White 2025: Full Cast Revealed

Meet the Stars of Snow White 2025: Full Cast Revealed Once upon a time, in a land of sequels and reboots, a story as old as time was getting a glittering new face. The tale of Snow White—the beloved fairytale that defined generations—is preparing to make its majestic return in 2025. But this isn’t the story you remember. The magic mirror has spoken, and the cast is as spellbinding as the tale itself.

The Snow White 2025 cast is a brilliant blend of Hollywood legends, musical prodigies, and rising stars. This ambitious reimagining by Disney is turning heads and raising eyebrows, but most importantly, it’s reigniting wonder. From the enchanted woods to the palace halls, let’s meet the dazzling ensemble breathing new life into this timeless classic.

Rachel Zegler as Snow White: The Fairest and Fiercest of Them All

Leading the charge is none other than West Side Story’s breakout star, Rachel Zegler. With her captivating voice and commanding screen presence, she’s a Snow White unlike any before.

Zegler’s casting in the Snow White 2025 cast marks a pivotal moment for representation. Of Colombian and Polish descent, she steps into the glass slippers of a character historically cast with rigid archetypes. Her Snow White is expected to be bold, empathetic, and refreshingly modern.

Armed with vocals that sparkle and acting chops that impressed even Spielberg, Zegler promises to elevate the story from whimsical to unforgettable. Early behind-the-scenes whispers describe her performance as “emotionally rich, powerfully nuanced, and joyfully rebellious.”

Gal Gadot as The Evil Queen: Mirror, Mirror with a Twist

When it comes to iconic villains, the Evil Queen ranks among the most spine-chilling. And who better to embody elegance laced with danger than Gal Gadot?

The former Wonder Woman trades her golden armor for velvet gowns and venomous ambition in the Snow White 2025 cast. Her transformation into the Evil Queen is one of the film’s most anticipated highlights.

Gadot’s regal demeanor and magnetic gaze bring a seductive edge to the classic villain. But don’t expect a two-dimensional tyrant—this Queen has depth. Her motivations, backstory, and emotional complexity will be explored with a fresh lens, offering audiences a villain they might just sympathize with.

Disney has hinted that Gadot’s performance includes both acting gravitas and a haunting solo musical number. We’re talking elegance with a dose of enchantment.

Andrew Burnap as Jonathan: A Love Interest Rewritten

Enter Andrew Burnap, the Tony-winning actor cast as Jonathan, a completely original character created for this adaptation. His role is a modern replacement for the traditionally passive Prince Charming.

Burnap brings with him a reputation for delivering emotionally charged performances on stage. His inclusion in the Snow White 2025 cast hints at a shift in narrative dynamics—less of a savior trope, more of a companion in Snow White’s personal journey.

Jonathan is described as “kind-hearted, philosophical, and slightly awkward.” He’s not there to save the princess—he’s there to walk beside her. This reimagined romantic lead is already winning praise from critics, even before the movie hits screens.

Reinventing the Forest Companions: Beyond the Seven Dwarfs

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the Snow White 2025 cast is the reworking of the seven dwarfs. In a bid to modernize and diversify, Disney has crafted an ensemble of unique characters who defy the old tropes.

Rather than caricatured miners, this group includes a medley of personalities with rich backgrounds and intriguing arcs. Here are some standouts from this ensemble:

• Martin Klebba: A fan-favorite from Pirates of the Caribbean, he’s confirmed to portray one of the forest dwellers, grounding the ensemble with authenticity and warmth.
• Malachi Kirby: Known for Roots and Black Mirror, Kirby brings a thoughtful depth, playing a sage-like figure with poetic insight.
• Juno Temple: Fresh off the success of Ted Lasso, she injects quirky charm as a magical creature-turned-companion with prophetic gifts.
• Ansu Kabia: The British-Ghanaian actor is set to play a strategist and protector, bringing gravitas and emotional weight.
• Dudu Mkhize: A South African star of stage and screen, Mkhize’s role is said to provide both comic relief and a pivotal emotional arc.

Each character brings more than laughs or exposition—they play meaningful roles in shaping Snow White’s transformation. It’s a far cry from the cookie-cutter dwarfs of yesteryear.

Rumored Appearances and Surprises

Disney has never shied away from planting Easter eggs, and this film is no exception. The Snow White 2025 cast includes rumored cameos that could light up the screen:

• Helena Bonham Carter may voice the enchanted mirror—personified in this adaptation as a once-beautiful sorceress trapped in reflection.
• Ariana DeBose is speculated to provide the voice of an animated bird companion with Broadway-worthy vocals.
• Jordan Fisher, a musical powerhouse, is rumored to appear as a rival prince, introducing a subplot of political intrigue.

Though not all names are confirmed, these possible inclusions suggest layers of storytelling and fan-favorite moments built to thrill.

Directorial Vision: Marc Webb at the Helm

Guiding the Snow White 2025 cast is director Marc Webb, acclaimed for his visual storytelling in 500 Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man. Known for marrying whimsy with emotional gravity, Webb is expected to bring lyrical beauty and nuanced character development.

Webb’s style—romantic, introspective, and occasionally surreal—aligns perfectly with the dreamlike palette of Snow White. His partnership with the cast has been praised as collaborative, fostering a creative environment where actors are encouraged to take risks and explore emotional depth.

The Greta Gerwig Effect: Script with Substance

The screenplay was co-written by Greta Gerwig, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker behind Lady Bird and Barbie. Gerwig’s fingerprints are already visible in the script’s feminist undertones, sharp dialogue, and refreshing emotional complexity.

Her involvement in shaping the Snow White 2025 cast means characters aren’t just pretty faces—they have inner conflicts, growth arcs, and relatable flaws. Expect a Snow White who challenges authority, questions morality, and learns to embrace leadership in her own way.

Music to Enchant: Songs That Soar

Let’s talk music. No Disney fairytale is complete without heart-tugging melodies, and this film is pulling out all the stops.

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the songwriting geniuses behind La La Land and The Greatest Showman, are crafting the score. Their involvement guarantees ballads that soar and anthems that uplift.

Each major character—including the Evil Queen—has a signature number. Zegler reportedly performs a new anthem titled “The Bloom Within”, a power ballad about inner strength and self-belief. It’s set to be a showstopper.

Meanwhile, Gadot’s villainous solo, “Silken Lies”, is said to be a dark, jazzy lullaby that reveals her descent into obsession. It’s poised to become a fan favorite among Disney villains.

A Film of Firsts: Breaking Old Molds

The Snow White 2025 cast is a symbol of change. No longer a tale frozen in time, this adaptation reflects the world as it is—diverse, dynamic, and unafraid to challenge convention.

Rather than tiptoeing around controversy, the casting choices and narrative shifts face it head-on. Audiences will see a Snow White who learns, stumbles, and grows—not simply someone waiting for fate to arrive.

Characters of color, characters with disabilities, and roles that defy gender norms all find space in this retelling. It’s a celebration of inclusivity and an invitation for audiences of all backgrounds to see themselves reflected on screen.

Public Reaction: Mixed, But Magnetic

When the Snow White 2025 cast was first revealed, reactions exploded across social media. Some fans praised the bold direction, hailing it as “a breath of fresh air for the franchise.” Others, more skeptical, questioned the departures from the 1937 animated classic.

But as with all great art, the goal isn’t to please everyone. It’s to provoke thought, stir emotion, and push boundaries.

Interviews with the cast suggest they are aware of the stakes—and they’re embracing them. In Zegler’s words: “We’re not here to rewrite the past. We’re here to reimagine the future.”

Looking Ahead: What the Cast Means for Disney’s Future

This film is more than just another remake. It’s a litmus test for the future of Disney storytelling. The Snow White 2025 cast is a declaration that fairy tales can evolve.

Audiences are craving authenticity. They’re tired of carbon copies and yearning for depth, imagination, and courage. This cast delivers on all three counts.

By putting a new face on a beloved story, Disney isn’t erasing the original—it’s keeping the story alive in a way that resonates with the next generation.

Final Thoughts: A Tale Worth Telling Again

As we await the arrival of Snow White 2025, one thing is clear—the magic isn’t just in the spells or the songs. It’s in the people who bring the tale to life. The Snow White 2025 cast is brimming with talent, diversity, and daring—a perfect ensemble to lead this timeless story into the future.

So whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newcomer curious about all the buzz, this cast is worth watching. Because sometimes, the fairest of them all isn’t the one with porcelain skin or ruby lips—it’s the one who dares to reimagine what “happily ever after” really means.
